This year, ShPFF will be presented to you in a different format from the past. We will screen the selected films on 11-June and 18-June as a two-full-day queer films marathon. Films have been selected from many different countries such as China, UK, Germany, Canada, Netherlands and USA. Some of the winning films of Berlin International Film Festival Teddy Award and BFI Flare London LGBT Film Festival will also have their premiere in Mainland China at ShPFF.
As the one of the founding members of Asia Pacific Queer Film Festival Alliance, we are going to share with you some of the best queer films from the region, including India, Australia, and Indonesia.
Film screenings will follow with panel discussions with guest speakers to discuss about development of queer films and the local community.
