Originally produced by Benny Blanco and The Smeezingtons, this remix is taken from a brand-new "Gold" remix EP that will be released at the end of the month. Ashworth does a fantastic job flipping "Gold" up its head without loosing its melodic pop sensibilities and lyrical power. The 20 year-old New York City producer adds a finely-tuned dancefloor twist to the track by infusing it with a euphoric new synth track and big drops that ignite an appropriately epic frenzy of choppy microcuts that add a potent quality to his very accomplished remake.
