Through this\, viewers will be able to be tter appreciate each petal\, stamen and pistil's beauty\, all of which are in effect a brush stroke of nature.\n\nThis theme is then brought to anot her level in the accompanying “Floral Paintings” series\, where Qi Wei re-creates images resembling well-known paintings and drawings – but up on closer inspection\, each stroke is revealed as a floral component. The use of photography freezes the beauty and intricacies of nature in the mom ent of full bloom\, producing the impressions of depth in these works.
