 nisers have planned something extra special – Pink Dot 2012 will take pl
 ace at sunset\, for the first time in its history culminating in the forma
 tion of a pink dot of shimmering torches\, light sticks and glowing mobile
  phones\, in the first hours of darkness.\n“Having a Pink Dot formed at 
 night makes for a dramatic message of inclusivity and acceptance – a cel
 ebration of unity in diversity that emphasises our shared belief in the Fr
 eedom to Love\, “ said Pink Dot spokesperson Paerin Choa.\n\nPink Dot 20
 12 is also proud to announce its Ambassadors\, personalities who need no f
 urther introduction – actor-comedian-diva extraordinaire Kumar\, former 
 actress and City Beat host Sharon Au\, and multi-talented actor Lim Yu-Ben
 g\, in a special announcement video that will be unveiled tonight.\n\nThe 
 inaugural Pink Dot event in 2009\, saw 2\,500 people in attendance. In 201
 0\, this figure nearly doubled to 4\,000\, while Pink Dot 2011 saw its lar
 gest turnout yet – more than 10\,000 people thronged Hong Lim Park in a 
 strong show of support.\n\n===================================\n\nExpect a
 n exciting line-up of some of Singapore’s favourite celebrities at this 
 year’s Pink Dot Concert! Held at Hong Lim Park on 30th June (mark your c
 alendars!)\, join Singapore’s favourite bands\, comedians\, and singers 
 at the first Pink Dot held at NIGHT!\n\nCatch Kumar\, Sharon Au\, and Lim 
 Yu-Beng\, our lovely Pink Dot 2012 ambassadors\, acoustic duo Jack & Rai\,
  funnygirl Pam Oei\, Ivan Heng & the va-va-voom La Cage aux Folles\, King 
 Kong Jane\, Tang Quartet and Starlight Alchemy. Woohoo! Sounds like it’s
  going to be a power-packed evening.\n\nThe show will begin from 6.30pm to
