Hong Kong police arrest gay massage owner

A 22-year old owner of gay massage parlour in Mong Kok arrested for selling sexual services last week

Two undercover officers arrested the man at the establishment on Nelson Street at 11pm on Wednesday for allegedly running a vice establishment.
Massage tables, condoms, oils and lubricant were seized by police as evidence in the night time raid.
The massage parlour advertised on gay websites and offered a variety of sexual services including a“full service package” for HKD1,500.
According to Oriental Daily, the man is said to be university-educated and once “ran in a beauty pageant” in high school.
Police told Oriental Daily that a number of previous operations had failed due to the alertness of staff. They also told the paper that the establishment made close to HKD5,000 in two hours.
Although prostitution is legal in Hong Kong, organised prostitution and profiting from others’ prostiution is not. Public solicitation is also illegal.
