Singapore LGBTQ history walk lists a 9 November departure

The Monday evening tour with Isaac Tng explores local queer history through stories and places.

Isaac Tng leads Pride Community’s LGBTQ History Walking Tour on Monday 9 November at 5.30pm. The meeting point is Ikigai Izakaya at The Riverwalk, B1-01; the time is Singapore time.

The walk takes two and a half hours, with stories and historic locations tracing Singapore’s LGBTQ past and present. It is conducted in English. You do not have to be LGBTQ to join.

At S$65, the tour includes a drink. There is a non-alcoholic choice.

Expect stairs and road crossings along the way. Wheelchair users should discuss access with the organiser in advance. Comfortable walking shoes and an umbrella are on the organiser’s packing list: light rain will not stop the walk, while heavy rain may mean contingency arrangements.

Confirmed bookings cannot be refunded. The organiser says they can be moved to the next available date.
