World-famous Taiwan same-sex marriage lawyer Victoria Hsu, claimant Mr. Chi Chia-wei, the veteran gay rights activist who won the lawsuit of same-sex marriage in Taiwan this year will give their perspective on how Hong Kong can achieve equality for LGBT community.

"Each year Pink Season grows in size, strength and quality. This year has been exceptional," said Philip WilliamsPink Season Director. "We are all really excited about the upcoming season and looking forward to engaging with so many new people."

Chairman of Hong Kong's Equal Opportunities Commission Professor Alfred Chan said the commission was pleased to be supporting the festival.

"The EOC is particularly pleased to see that Pink Season has expanded the number of educational events in order to better educate the public about the issues facing LGBTI people. We wish the festival every success," he said.

I thought LGBT people were part of the public and extremely diverse within it.

It seems like a few are assuming "leadership".

Sucks to be defined solely by their sexuality I'd assume.
