There is only one must-see this week for viewers who dislike blockbusters
and horror flicks, viewers who are a bit 'atas' (high-brow).
Bewitching Attraction is an intelligent Korean drama that
is being marketed as a fun and sexy adult comedy. But in reality,
the film is much more complex, daring and rewarding than that. It
is the film to see if you want an honest glimpse of human foibles.

The story centers on a promiscuous woman played flawlessly by talented
actress Moon So-Ri (Oasis). By morning, she appears to
be a respectable bespectacled school teacher. But by night, she
is a naughty temptress who will bed almost any man who can get it
up. The arrival of another teacher (hunky Ji Jin-Hee) threatens
to change her wicked ways. The two share a past, and a dark secret...

This is the debut feature of director Lee Ha, who won several awards
for his spare and elegant student film Can I Love You?.
Bewitching Attraction, despite its silly title, immediately
distinguishes him as a serious filmmaker with some potential. For
lovers of serious art films, don't be fooled by the naughty poster
of a woman bending over to be spanked by a man. THIS is the film
              that you should see.
