Mainland China undertakes to protect its LGBT citizens

The world’s second-largest economy this week agreed to five United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council recommendations to protect the rights of LGBT population, stating that these had in fact already been implemented. In addition, certain UN member states urged the PRC to adopt anti-discrimination legislation.
