At only 21 years old, Swedish singer/songwriter Miriam Bryant brings an emotional intensity to her songwriting and performance that is wise beyond her years. Take for example her brilliant debut single "Finders, Keepers" that is an epic rollercoaster that instantly invokes memories of her soul-pop contemporaries, most notably Adele. Starting out as a twinkling piano ballad that emphasizes Bryant's powerhouse vocals, the song slowly builds into a tune of titanic proportions that was produced by Bryant's writing partner Victor Rådström. He masterfully wraps Bryant's heartbreak melody into an electro-edged composition with gritty orchestral undertones that further amp up the song's message about love and letting go. "I'm over today even if tomorrow comes to soon," Bryant poignantly belts out in the song's chorus. Highly recommended.
