Watch: Some of David Bowie’s most fantastic LGBTQ moments

In homage to the late great rock star who’s androgynous, daring yet utterly beautiful style encouraged and told us all its more than OK to be who we are.

Widely regarded as Bowie’s coming out as bisexual song, this single from 1972 appears to concern a gay relationship in which the narrator informs his boyfriend not to worry about the he’s with because he is “only dancing” with her.

Some of Bowie’s most fantastic drag work appeared in the music video for Boys Keep Swinging (1979). True to his shape-shifting style, Bowie

A creative trailblazer in a time when few had the courage, to my generation an inspirational Icon like Madonna was from the 80's for that generation I'd hate to recount some of the gruesome out fits I got out in in those heady but often dangerous times😂 funny isn't it for all the self spun 'propaganda' about how creative we are and blah blah blahing on about our selves essentially 'straight' people have often 'trail blazed' for us, 60's-70's Gay Liberation aside that is, now that is another amazing story of defiance & courage
