Fridae doesn't want to spoil your fun by giving away too many plot
details in our reviews. But really, some movies do a good job of
spoiling themselves anyway by being boring and stupid — like
Saint Ange.

In this horrifyingly bad horror film, the sexy Virginie Ledoyen
(The Beach) plays a cleaning woman sent to work at a strange
orphanage called Saint Ange. She befriends a disturbed girl (Lou
Doillon) and together, they uncover the mystery of the orphanage.

What starts off as a slow-paced but creepy ghost movie turns, at
mid-way, into a futuristic zombie movie that is — alas! —
equally slow. So if you want a proper zombie movie, we suggest you
skip Saint Ange completely and head for George A. Romero's
terrifically entertaining Land of the Dead.
