Watch: Steamy Thai drama encourages sexual health

A new YouTube series entitled "GayOk Bangkok" follows the lives of six Thai men and is produced by APCOM, the HIV-treatment advocating organization which produces the series.

The series explores relationships and friendships between six gay men in Bangkok. The series is launched as a part of the HIV-testing campaign, "TestBKK". It aims to present gay men in a more three-dimensional way, not often present in mainstream media.

APCOM the HIV-treatment organization worked together with LGBT experts like Trasher, who are famous for their LGBT parties and movies.

“The audience will see many relevant facets of gay storylines that will uncover myths relating to gay men and sexual health problems, among many other life difficulties they face on a daily basis. Even I myself gained a lot of new health knowledge from working on this [project],” Kanit Piyapapharakun, one of the actors in the series, told Coconuts Bangkok.

Watch the first episode, "Trust" below. This first episode, which was launched on Monday, tells the story of two gay friends who find themselves competing on gay dating apps.
