So-called 'Islamic defenders' raid an HIV support center in Indonesia

Police and military supervised the raid, amid a crackdown on LGBT Indonesians ahead of national elections in April.

 

The Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) vigilante group led a raid on an HIV organization in the Indonesian island of Sumatra on Tuesday (15 January).

OPSI provides HIV support to LGBT people and sex workers.
