They were the favourites from the beginning, and delivered an emotional performance on the night.

After the jury voting, they were sitting near the top end of the drawer, and the public vote did not disappoint - taking them to the top of the table.

How did Australia do in Eurovision 2022?

Sheldon Riley was representing Australia with the song Not The Same.

It was a strong performance, that scored well with the jury voters across Europe. There wasn't a huge amount of support from the public vote for Australia, which isn't hugely surprising. 

Overall, Australia placed 15th in the Final.
