What Bangkok is proposing for WorldPride 2030

The city’s bid includes a human-rights forum, a disability expo and inclusive sport. Here is what the organisers propose, and where the host selection stands.

Bangkok's WorldPride 2030 proposal places a disability expo at True Digital Park and a human-rights forum at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Benjakitti Park would hold the opening ceremony and a programme of shared public activities.

InterPride's WorldPride 2030 page lists bids from Bangkok and Barcelona. It says submissions are closed; no host is named on the page. InterPride describes a 14-day programme, while Bangkok's bid website also lists sports and esports.

For visitors, the journey between events matters too. If a shuttle service, map or signs helped at another Pride, tell us what worked.

Bangkok Pride says its work with Pride City Network Thailand connects LGBTQIAN+ communities across the country. The organisers' English-language bid book is available online for readers who want to examine the plans.
