Outsummit Asia brings Pride organisers together online on 11 November

The free event offers Mandarin Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia interpretation, with a choice to skip public breakout discussions.

Activists from Mongolia, Bhutan and Timor-Leste will discuss how they use Pride to support longer-term organising at Outsummit Asia on Wednesday 11 November.

Outright International’s free online event runs from 1pm to 4.15pm Taipei time on Zoom. The main sessions are in English, with interpretation into Mandarin Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia. Anyone can register.

The afternoon opens with a session on economic inclusion and working with businesses. The Pride discussion follows at 2.50pm Taipei time, with Enkhmaa Enkhbold of LGBT Centre Mongolia, Tashi Tsheten of Queer Voices of Bhutan and Natalino Guterres of Fundasaun CODIVA in Timor-Leste.

There’s a choice for people who would rather listen than join a small group. Outright says the event is public and breakout participants can see and speak to one another. Its registration form lets people skip the breakouts and stay in the main sessions.

The programme and registration are on Outright’s website. The organiser says it will email joining links after registration and send a recording afterwards.
