separate toilets for lesbians, demands student's father

A Californian man has filed a complaint against his daughter's school demanding that the school have separate toilets for lesbian students.

A father has filed a complaint against the Grossmont Union High School District of Southern California alleging that his daughter's civil rights are being violated because she has to share toilets and changing rooms with lesbians.

Paul Scott said that the school district is: "not addressing a very clear right of privacy violation" that requires the girl to share facilities with "homosexual students and staff."

The school board has found no discrimination and rejected Scott's complaint after investigation. The board, they said in a report that forcing lesbian students to use segregated facilities would in fact be discriminatory and illegal. Scott has 15 days to appeal.
