Actress Portia de Rossi, who plays man-hungry lawyer Nell Carter in TV series, Ally McBeal, is reported to be having a lesbian affair with 33-year-old singer Francesca Gregorini, according to Australian news website, ninemsn.com.

The Australian-born actress and Gregorini, who is former Beatle Ringo Starr's stepdaughter were spotted kissing passionately in a Hollywood restaurant, British tabloid the Daily Star said.

"Their hands were everywhere - over their clothing and under their shirts… They were making out in broad daylight like a couple of teenagers. And this was all in public. There was just no shame," an eyewitness told the tabloid.

The paper added that the 28-year-old De Rossi and her partner left the restaurant hand in hand before sneaking down a side street where they carried on fondling each other.
