Being shipwrecked and stranded on a deserted island is no fun (just ask anyone who's been on Survivor and didn't win), but what if you end up on the island with literally the man of your dreams? That is what happens to Jenny Riley (Amanda Bynes), when she finds herself thrown overboard a cruise ship together with her number-one pop idol, Jason Masters (the hot and hunky Chris Carmack). However, what Jason does not know is that they are not that far away from the Caribbean resort the two were on, and Jenny is not very willing to let him find out...
Lovewrecked is a totally fluffy romantic comedy, and anyone hoping to be engaged cerebrally watching this film is obviously in the wrong cinema. What is an added bonus is that both male leads, Chris Carmack and Jonathan Bennett (who plays Jenny's long time friend holding a torch for her), are not shy about taking off their clothes and showing off their buff torsos — it is definitely a sight that one cannot get enough of. Yummy!
One more thing to look out for in the movie is the appearance of Lance Bass in a bit role — notable for recently coming out of the closet and dating Reichen Lehmkuhl, formerly an Amazing Race contestant, and another gorgeous, yummilicious man. Little wonder why Lance chose to take up this project...
