sex and orgasms help keep you healthy

That glow you get after sex may be one of the many health benefits of sexual activity and orgasms.

According to the December issue of Self magazine, research from the Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, found that regular sex may help prevent colds and flu.

Participants who had sex at least a couple times a week had higher levels of immunoglobulin A, an antibody which helps your body fight off illness.

Another study found that orgasms help people reduce pain, according to the magazine. This study, conducted by researchers at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, suggests you give sex a try the next time you get a headache or have cramps.

Sex increases circulation and blood flow (not just to your genitals), and reduces stress. Sex also burns calories, so get to work!
