Fridae

This assured, if somewhat predictable, horror film from Japan stars
Hiroshi Mikami as a man who predicts his daughter's grisly death
just minutes before the tragedy occurs. Struggling with his loss,
he starts to make predictions through mysterious newspaper images
on others deaths as well. Should he try to stop them or allow Fate
to take its course?

Inspired by a manga series and directed by Norio Tsurata,
the film delivers some scares and shivers. But ultimately, you get
the feeling that you've seen it all before, in other Japanese or
Korean horror films that have been shown our cinemas in recent years.
