The successful Blade franchise about a black mutant vampire
— one of the very few black superheroes created by Marvel
comics — is back for a third instalment.
The ultra-cool Wesley Snipes plays the strong and silent vampire
killer Blade out to stop another batch of bloodsuckers from wreaking
havoc upon the world. This time, he is aided by two human fighters,
Abigail (Jessica Biel) and Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds).
The show boasts plenty of hyperkinetic action sequences with slick
gongfu choreography, shot MTV-style. But all that endless fighting
gets really dull and repetitive soon enough.
Still, the show is worth watching for two things: For the girls,
there's sexy Jessica Biel (from 7th Heaven) in a cute,
tight tank top. And for the boys, there's a buffed-up Ryan Reynolds
(from Two Guys, A Girl And A Pizza Place) with gorgeous
pertorals and abs, who spends the second half of the movie shirtless.
Yum yum...
