Original Title: Laa-thaa-phii

The most noteworthy thing about Ghost Game is how it managed to cause Thai-Cambodia relations to reach an all-time low due to its allusion to the Khmer Rouge regime.

Eleven gung-ho participants of a reality TV programme are to be locked in a haunted ex-concentration camp, and provoke the spirits into attacking them. It sounds like a recipe for disaster, but the longest surviving contestant gets to bring a tempting grand prize of five million Baht home.

Ghost Game's greatest weakness is its inability to tell a coherent story — there are many characters in the movie, and yet it is so confusingly shot, and there is so little to distinguish one person from another, that the audience won't be able to root for any of the contestants because they just don't know them well enough. All the standard horror cliches can be found in the movie, but few are well-executed. It may be frightening for the very weak-hearted, but many people will leave the cinema feeling confused.
