Now, Fridae knows that you drama queens simply looove Julianne
Moore. Like Meryl Streep and Gong Li, she is an extraordinary actress
who can express more emotion in one eyebrow than most actresses
can with their whole bodies. And it is she who saves this X-Files-type
mystery drama from being a total disaster.
Julianne plays a mother whose son is killed in a plane crash. But
a year after the tragedy, her husband, friends, neighbours and psychiatrist
tell her that her son never existed, that she had only imagined
she had a son.
So is she completely crazy? Or is this a case of bizarre alien
interference, or government cover-up? If you're a die-hard Julianne
fan and a lover of The X-Files series, then you'd enjoy
the actress' performance and all the sci-fi/mystery mambo-jambo.
Otherwise, you may find the movie completely ridiculous and implausible,
and think Julianne an idiot for taking on the role.
