Bruce Willis is oh-so-over.
As his acting career stumbles about on its last legs, he stars
in this typically headache-inducing cop thriller that's full of
energy, snazzy car chases and razzle-dazzle stunts — and low
on sense and logic. So leave your brain at the door, please.
He plays an L.A. cop who's tired of the city's manic crime scene
and decides to take it slow by transferring to a small-town police
post. But when local accountant (Kevin Pollak) and his children
are taken hostage in their own home, our hero gets sucked into the
rescue mission.
