You may have seen its provocative posters and
pictures, where a naked girl and boy are locked in a
wet embrace while another naked boy stands behind
them. The poster promises a hot ménage a trois, and
film delivers on its promise.



This homoerotic French film stars Johan Libereau as
Mickael, a deliciously buff 17-year-old twink who is
the captain of his high school judo team and has a
gorgeous vixen of a girlfriend (Salome Stevenin). But
his life is far from perfect. His blue-collar parents
are constantly bickering about money. And all too
often, Mickael has to take very cold showers because
his parents can't afford heating.



More troubles brew when our young hero befriends a
handsome rich boy (Pierre Perrier) who seduces Mickael
and his girlfriend into a ménage a trios. A hot
three-way session on the judo tatamis subsequently
results in jealousy, rivalry and sexual tension.



Directed by Antony Cordier, Cold Showers is a
well-judged portrait of a boy becoming a man. Lead
actor Johan charms with his completely natural acting,
while the rest of the young attractive cast delivers
wonderfully believable performances. And there are a
few steamy shower scenes - the most delicious one, of
course, involve the sexy judo boys. There are also a
few scenes displaying full-frontal male and female
nudity.
