Where Got Ghost? should be retitled Where Got Funny? as writer-director Jack Neo returns with a barely passable horror comedy.

Do you remember travelling some distance to meet someone for a one-night-stand? Photo exchange in a chat room or on MSN, followed by exchange of numbers and arranging to meet somewhere for casual sex. Directed by Rémi Lange, the film Devotee recalls exactly the same encounter, except that one guy is an amputee and the other a devotee.

Mystery, spirituality, jealousy and innocent love: these underlying themes are played out in Ghosted, which is directed by openly lesbian filmmaker Monika Treut (Seduction: The Cruel Woman). 

Yet another smash hit from Pixar, as a recently widowed-cranky 80-year-old codge unexpectedly forms a friendship with a little child.

G.I. Joe does not pretend to be anything but a movie big on action. However Channing Taturn in that tight outfit alone could be the most compelling reason for most Fridae members.   

Michelle Pfeiffer is both sexy and fragile as a woman coming to terms with the murder of her husband. Ashton Kutcher, who plays her younger lover, looks surprisingly handsome when he’s not punking celebs.

This movie is for straight men who say dude to one another. Or queers with a similar sense of humour.

Hell knows no fury like a gay man scorned. The superb Korean drama A Frozen Flower depicts a gay king who shares a male lover with his wife, the queen - and what happens when that male lover prefers the queen.

Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Marion Cotillard in a period gangster flick directed by Michael Mann. How can you say no?
