Watch: LGBT Singapore National Day Song

Cover of classic National Day anthem 'Home', features prominent figures from Singapore's queer community and is performed by openly bisexual artist LEW.

Ahead of Singapore’s National Day on August 9, LGBT group Dear Straight People have produced their own national day song to celebrate the LGBT community in city-state.

“The idea to do a LGBT National Day cover came to me just last week while I was brainstorming and together with my team, we managed to produce the entire video (audio and visuals) in just one week,” Sean from Dear Straight People told Gay Star News.

The song, ‘Home’, is a cover of a popular National Day song, performed by 19-year-old popular bisexual pop star LEW.

It include prominent members of Singapore's queer community including a mother of two gay sons, top drag queen NORIStar as well as straight allies.
