Pride organizers in South Korea urge police to protect their rights

Seoul's 20th Queer Culture Festival will kick off in May amid rising violence from conservative Christian groups.

Organisers of the largest LGBT Pride event in South Korea urged the Government not to give in to conservative groups and protect attendees.
The 20th Queer Culture Festival will take place in May, including a Pride Parade on June 1, Organisers said at a press conference on Tuesday (26 February). The Organisers have applied for the Government’s permission to use Seoul Plaza as the starting point for the Pride Parade.

I wish them success in their Pride Parade and other functions around South Korea during the 20th Queer Culture Festival. Hopefully nobody will be injured and people will become more tolerant regarding the LGBT community.
