Chappell Roan brought Christina Aguilera onstage for a duet of “Coffee” at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on 21 October. The surprise appearance came during a benefit for trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities.
A video posted by concertgoer Jessica Golich shows the two singers sharing the performance. It was the first night of The Super Graphic Spectacular, Roan’s two-day charity event, with a second show scheduled for 22 October.
The fundraiser supports The Midwest Princess Project, which Roan founded in 2025. On her website, she describes its purpose as uplifting trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities through “action, care, and connection”.
The artist’s programme says all net proceeds will go toward the project’s next phase. Alongside the concerts, it lists a daytime block party with drag performers, DJs, local artists and volunteering opportunities.
There’s room for fans to get involved beyond buying a concert ticket. The project’s website highlights volunteering with local organisations around the US, including community gardens and dinners.
It also describes plans for Los Angeles nonprofits providing direct services for trans youth to meet fans and share resources at the event.
