Workplace Pride founder David Pollard receives Dutch royal honour

Amsterdam’s citation recognised two decades of workplace inclusion, alongside mentoring and advocacy that includes India and Brazil.

Workplace Pride founder David Pollard has received a Dutch royal honour for his work on LGBTQ+ inclusion at work.

Amsterdam’s city government said he was appointed a Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau on 6 November. Deputy mayor Araya Sumter presented the honour at Workplace Pride’s gala in the Beurs van Berlage.

The city’s citation recognised 20 years of building the organisation. It also highlighted Pollard’s voluntary mentoring and international advocacy, including in India and Brazil.
