Last Month saw the Amplify Conference in Singapore in which LGBTQIs from the Asia Pacific region came together to discuss and explore gender and sexuality issues within Christianity.

Pink Season 2014 launches on September 16 at Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong. The premier LGBT festival Hong Kong boasts more than a month of sports, culture, and social events. 

A total of 43 people, including members of Singapore's LGBT community and straight allies, have have come out in support of next month's Pink Dot event at Hong Lim Park in a newly released promotional video.

With just 3 months to go to the International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia (IDAHOT) 2014, activists in dozens of countries are now actively planning their events, whilst many have already announced them.

 

This week the Phuket Loves You club (PLU) have launched Phuket Pride week 2014

Come March 8, 2011, Singaporean director Dr Loretta Chen of 251, What the Butler Saw and Victor/Victoria fame will give her interpretation of the iconic Eve Ensler play The Vagina Monologues in Toronto, Canada.

The IndigNation Pride Film Festival showcases 2 feature films and 5 shorts including Yossi and Jagger (Israel), Drifting Flowers (Taiwan), Transproofed (2009), Anniversary (Singapore) and Threshold (Singapore) from Aug 10-12.

Following a successful run in Kuala Lumpur, 10 individuals – some of whom are LGBT, have tested HIV positive or have partners, family or friends who have tested positive – will take to the stage to share how they have been affected by HIV and AIDS.
