A short film depicting 26 year-old Darius Zee's life in Singapore, has been launched by Be Change. It is the first of seven 'Stories of Being Me' productions exploring LGBTI life in Asia.
Purple Light is a commonly sung song in the Army in Singapore, and the film is based on a true story of a young recruit who falls in love with his friend. He then learns that what matters is not whether people accept him for who he is, but how he accepts himself and others unacceptance of him.
