Hello Operator's "55 Regrets" is some of the best melodic guitar pop I've heard in a while. After touring with Hillary Duff, the four members of this Toronto-based outfit have hit the road on their own to promote their new digital EP "So Free."
As press release describes Hello Operator as "The Cars covering 'Cars' by Gary Numan." That description hits the nail right on the head. Produced by Mike Condo and Evan Huson, "55 Regrets" is the result of experimentation with guitars and synths in the studio.
