Hello, my name is James and I am a 54 year old man from the Northwestern United States. I am 6 feet/ 183 cm tall and I weigh 195 pounds/ @ 90 k. I would be labeled a chub if I had to have a label. I have brown eyes and bluish hazel eyes. I usually have a full beard and moustache. I have nearly forty years of experience working in the hospitality industry as a cook/chef/kitchen manager. My training has been in Garde Manger, Charcuiterie and Banquets. Ten of these years I worked in Las Vegas for the Mirage and MGM-Mirage Casino Hotels. Currently I am on hiatus from my final year of University due to the Covid epidemic. Fall 2021 I will return to school to complete my Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Communications. My goal on graduation is to take a year or possibly more in Asia to work in teaching English in person after doing so online to China for 5 years now. What I am looking for is someone who I can find and build a connection with online before I arrive in Asia where we can continue to explore the future possibilities. My goal is a LTR, hopefully marriage if possible. I do have conservative ideas about any love relationship I am in. I am a strong proponent of monogamy, I would rather be alone than in any sort of open relationship. Loyalty, honesty and commitment are more than a beautiful body or a great personality to me. A mans heart says who and what he is. Usually I am attracted to men smaller and younger than I am. I also tend to be attracted to men with dark hair, eyes and complexion. But nothing is set in stone and a great chemistry can make everything I would normally seek, completely moot. Requirements that I won’t bend on are total monogamy, I am a cat person( actually I just love animals and nature in general) so if you hate cats or animals it would be an issue or if you are bigoted. There are too many people in our World hating others because they themselves are narrow minded, I wouldn’t do anything to encourage more of that. I would rather have a conversation than park in front of a screen mindlessly for hours, I love the outdoors: gardening, camping, hiking. I prefer a rural life to an urban life. I don’t enjoy bars and large crowds of people, I can deal with it without being miserable but prefer not to. I read a lot my favorite subjects being history, philosophy, psychology, natural sciences, anthropology, sociology, art, music, culture, comparative religions and spirituality. I am not a religious person but I am a very spiritual person. But I am not traditionally religious and believe strongly that organized religion can be a very dangerous tool in the wrong hands. Now that I have said enough to frighten most people away, I will thank you for taking the time to read this far. I honestly am looking for love, the man who can inspire me to be the best person I can be, the one who’s voice can bring calm to any situation because he represents home and peace.
