Try selling that notion to Malaysia's former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who was jailed for the worst version of a sodomy charge being a politically motivated version of this law.

One can be gay and not sodomise.
Laws are there to be changed. If a population enjoy the status quo however....
