Fridae

In this above-average creepfest, Robert De Niro plays a man who
finds his wife dead in a bathtub of blood. Her gruesome death deeply
affects their young daughter (Dakota Fanning), who begins to escape
into an imaginary world with her invisible friend, Charlie.

But is Charlie really an imaginary friend or is he something more
real and threatening? And who was really responsible for the mother's
death?

Despite the somewhat familiar plot, director John Polson distributes
his scares and shocks wisely throughout the movie and manages to
keep us watching through to the end.

If you're into cheesy spine-tinglers, Hide And Seek should
do the trick.
