Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is worth a rental or an evening with inebriated buddies but not much else. A Taylor/Neveldine fan might still have a blast though.
DiCaprio plays J Edgar Hoover as a tragic anti-hero and magnificent villain in a biopic that doesn't pussyfoot around the big man's big flaws and quirks.
The most intelligent and adult entertainment of 2011, its overall bleakness and lack of characterisation make it an easy film to admire but a tough film to like.
