The next Tokyo Rainbow Pride will be held on 28th April 2013. The parade celebrates the diversity of the LGBT community and raises awareness of issues facing LGBT people in Japan.
The first Tokyo Rainbow Pride in 2012 attracted over 4500 people. We aim to build on this to become the biggest Pride parade in Asia within five years.
Tokyo Rainbow Pride is proud to be part of Tokyo Rainbow Week (Apr 27-May 6), the first week long festival of Pride events in Japan. There are many other events taking place, including film screenings and a seminar for businesses.
