survey to gauge sexual health-related knowledge and behaviour in s'pore MSM

Action for AIDS' MSM Programme is appealing to MSM in Singapore to participate in a survey to better plan appropriate intervention measures to deal with rapidly rising HIV infection rates.

Action for AIDS' MSM Programme is conducting a survey on sexual health-related knowledge, behaviour and attitudes among gay and bisexual men in Singapore.

Survey respondents MUST be male, have had sex with another male, and are residing in Singapore. (If you do not fall into the category specified, or even if you do, please help us by passing this appeal to friends who do meet the criteria. Your support is very much appreciated.)

The survey will take only five minutes to complete and is much shorter and simpler than the previous one conducted from November 2002 to February 2003.

As with the previous survey, the results will be disseminated through various community channels, both electronic and otherwise. Results of the last survey, together with other related data, can be found at http://www.afa.org.sg/acalendar.htm

The results will also help the MSM Programme committee plan appropriate intervention measures to deal with the rapidly rising rates of gay and bisexual men diagnosed with HIV infection in Singapore in the past year or so.

The survey can be completed in English or Chinese:

Chinese survey: http://www.pelangipridecentre.org/surveys/msm04ch.htm

If you would like to volunteer with the programme, please e-mail pdafa@singnet.com.sg for more details.
