Why should businesses care? How can businesses create inclusive workplaces for LGBT employees? The report looks at some of the challenges faced by LGBT employees in Hong Kong and provides some very practical suggestions of what companies in Hong Kong can do to make their workplaces more inclusive.
Community Business, a non-profit organisation, is planning to produce a LGBT Resource Guide to help companies create inclusive workplaces for LGBT employees in Hong Kong. The Council for Global Equality's report outlines steps that U.S. corporations can take to protect their LGBT employees and promote fair workplace policies across all of their facilities around the world; and in some cases may require corporate efforts to change discriminatory local laws that interfere with business.
