Well known for picketing the funerals of US soldiers killed in Iraq with "God Hates Fags" billboards, Fred Phelps, 71, and his 51-year-old daughter Shirley Phelps-Roper have been barred from entering the UK.
Members of the notorious Westboro Baptist Church commonly use "God Hates Fags" billboards when they picket gay-related events and the funerals of US soldiers killed in Iraq, who the church claim, have died because God is punishing America for its acceptance of homosexuality.
"God hates the Queen Mary's College, and the fag-infested UK, England, and all having to do with spreading sodomite lies via The Laramie Project, this tacky bit of cheap fag propaganda masquerading as legitimate theater," the group said on their web site.
Upon learning of the ban, the notorious Westboro Baptist Church, which is predominantly populated by founder Phelps and some 70 members of his family, claimed it had secretly dispatched followers to the UK to avoid being denied entry to the country under Britain's anti-hate laws.
The planned protest will mark the first time the group has held protests outside North America.
The group made the headlines in 1998 when members picketed Shepard's funeral to promote their belief that homosexuals are destined for hell. The continued to cause outrage by protesting at the funerals of American soldiers, who the church claim, have died because God is punishing America for its acceptance of homosexuality.
According to the UK's Timesonline, the UK Border Agency confirmed the ban saying that both "individuals have engaged in unacceptable behaviour by inciting hatred against a number of communities."
"The Government has made it clear it opposes extremism in all its forms.
"We will continue to stop those who want to spread extremism, hatred and violent messages in our communities from coming to our country.
"The exclusions policy is targeted at all those who seek to stir up tension and provoke others to violence regardless of their origins and beliefs."
The move follows the UK Home Office's recent decision to deport Dutch MP Geert Wilders fearing that his views on Islam would "threaten community harmony and therefore public safety."
Prominent gay activist Peter Tatchell was quoted as saying in the Times that although he loathed their views, he disagreed with the decision to ban the Phelpses and Wilders.
"The Phelpses are odious, homophobic bigots. They give Christianity a bad name," he said. "Objectionable though they are, I don't agree with them being banned. But since the Home Secretary banned the Dutch MP Geert Wilders at least she is being consistent by also banning these Christian preachers of hate."
Last week, Wilders flew in to London's Heathrow airport despite being informed of the ban in advance. Wilders's controversial short film Fitna juxtaposes verses from the Koran with images of terrorist bombings and violence.

There was a British documentary on them recently, by filmmaker Louis Theroux, who tagged along and got to know them, it was very revealing. To me, the leader of the sect looks a bit like that old preacher from "Poltergeist". The whole video can be viewed on the internet.

The devil hates Jesus, who is a Homosexual, because He has defeated him. Jesus has defeated the devil by His blood. Via His blood and death on the cross, He has saved the world from hell. But the devil is going to hell. Since the devil has been defeated by Jesus, the only way his anger could be satisfied is by making war with the rest of the homosexuals.
HIV is not from God, it is from the devil. It is a curse from the devil for all races, cultures, nations, states, sexual orientation, age, etc. But he make people think it is a homosexual disease. The devil wants homosexuals think homosexuality is sin, feels condenmed, get into promicuity, self hatred, spread HIV, and then use people to accuse them. Then the devil would be happy as he feels like Jesus is always under his feet.
Just as the jews in the old testament criminalize Jesus and kill Him on the cross, not knowing that He is their God, similarly Christrians today crimialize homosexuals in the secular world. The devil wanted to deceive God's children. He used God's people to kill God as this would hurt God's heart the most. History repeats itself. The same old lie of the devil but in different packaging.

On the surface, they seems to be like water and oil, cannot be mixed. But in reality, they can be mixed, and indeed very, very, very related to each other.
You must get things clear:
1) The Bible did not mention anything immoral/ negative about homosexual orientation.
2) The Bible does mention about homosexual activity, and all negative remarks.
3) The Bible says that the cause of homosexual activities is via the worship of devil/ demons (i.e. idols). This is the only cause mentioned in the Bible (Rom 1:26-27).
Jesus became flesh, a Human Being. He is God Almighty, who humbles Himself even to the extend of being a Homosexual, a Human Being who possesses homosexual orientation (Jn 13:23; Jn 19:26; Jn 20:2; Jn 21:7, 20). Homosexual orientation is divine. The devil knew it and he wanted to be like God, wanted to be worshipped as a god. In order to feel like he has the Godhood/ God's nature, he invented his own perverted form of homosexuality: homosexual prosmicous activity (Rom 1:26-27). Thus many people get involved in homosexual acts when they worship demons. But Jesus has fulfilled the Law for the homosexuals (i.e. live the life of a Homosexual without sex, and died). Jesus earned and purchased the righteous life and given it to all, including homosexuals, who would believe. Jesus has gone through the 'suppression', so that we no need to 'suppress' any longer. We are set free from the Law and accepted by God!
The devil is losing his stronghold. Homosexuals could now leave the devil and enter into God's kingdom free and easy when they know the complete Truth! Homosexuals are originally his 'zhao pai' (brandname), but God has touched them and delivered them from him!
Why would God and the devil are so interested in the affair/ welfare of homosexuals, who are just a minority in the society? To the devil, so long as the homosexuals are under his bondage and lies, he will feel like he is higher than God, having Jesus under his feet. Jesus, a Homosexual, has defeated him and crushed his head (Gen 3:15). The devil cannot make war against Jesus. Thus he makes war with the rest of the homosexuals and put them under his feet.
God said:"Devil, let my homo-people go."
Devil replied:"No way! No way! No way! They are mine! I want them to worship me under my feet! Even if they happen to leave me and join You, I will not give them a good time but make them feel miserable!"
In John 19:26-27, Jesus saw his mother standing by, and the disciple whom Jesus 'loved', standing by as well, he instructed John to took Mary, His mother, to his own house to take care of her, just like his biological mother.
In Deut 25:5-6, God has implemented a Law regarding widows. In the Old Testament, women are propety of men. They cannot come out into the society to work. Their finances and livelihood depend solely on men. If a woman's husband is dead, and if she had no son, then she would need to get married to her brother-in-law who would take care of her. From this passage, we can know that if she had sons, her first born would take care of her, and if her first born is dead, then her second born would take care of her, and so on. If she had no son and brother-in-laws, then she would need to go back to her father's house, just like the case of Tamar, Judah's daughter-in-law. If her father is dead, then she would remain poor or some forced herself to be prostitutes in order to earn money and survive.
In the case of Jesus, he is the First Born in the family. He is not the husband of Mary. Why would He wanted someone to take care of her after He was dead? Perhaps Mary is a widow by then, i.e. Joseph, Jesus' earthy father, was already dead, Jesus, the first born, was thus the next one to take care of her. Jesus knew God's Law well, and He has biological brothers (Matthew 12:46, John 2:12, Acts 1:14), and one of them is Jude! Jesus would have kept quiet to John and Mary, and let his biological brothers to take care of her. Unless you say that his biological brothers, including Jude, who wrote the Bible, was very unspiritual and forsook their Mother Mary. Otherwise, Jesus would have 'broken' the Law in order to have the outsider, the son of Zebedee called John, to take care of His mother, just because He 'loved' John so much!
Mother Mary became John's mother-in-law and Jesus has instituted same gendered marriage, marrying himself to John on the cross just before He died and said 'it is finished'.
No body know this mystery until 2000 years later. All because the devil lied. Homosexuals, wake up!
Jesus never started exgay movement, and never marry Himself to women, in order to earn 'gay marriage' before the Father for us. Gay marriage is accepted before God the Father and it is there for us to claim. The devil hates it anmd tries all means to distract us from it.

Once upon a time, people used to say, "ignore him and he'll go away" - - well that didn't happen. From time to time small groups would anti-picket wherever he and his clan would go, but those little pockets of resistance soon faded. I mean, besides this Westboro group, who has the time to take off work and cease all other social responsibilities to picket?
The city council and other leaders in Topeka are too scared of him to do anything. They made some feeble attempts like saying he had to be so many yards away from a funeral to picket, so he just made his signs bigger and bolder so one can't help but see them. Phelps is, of course, not the reason at all of coming to China, but I don't see myself hurrying home until perhaps he has died (I'm envisioning in some horrible fire-related death), but people like this are tenacious. They hang onto life by their long, scraggly fingernails. I could be in China for a good long time!
Whether Jesus is a bottom or not I am not sure. One thing I am sure. He is either a G, B or T. As far as God is concerned, same gendered marriage is accepted before Him. In the Old Testament, homosexuals can get attracted, love, kiss but cannot have anal sex. However, Jesus loves us so much. He walked the life of a homosexual, but without sex. After He died, homosexuals can find completion under a same gendered love covenant before God. Homosexual matrimony is brought to the same 'level', if not 'higher', as heterosexual matrimony before the Father. That is to say, God has make a way where there seems to be no way. Same gendered marriage becomes a second option for LGBTs in the New Testament, where in the Old Testament the only way to get it is from the devil.

So the devil is angry, kept homosexuals under bondage, strike them with HIV, defame their blood, use the descendants of Abraham to accuse them, rob them of the life which God has purchased for them by His blood. In doing so, he 'feels' that Jesus is under his feet, and he is higher than God.

You should say that to fridae editors. Fridae has been so obsessed with negative news of church, their doctrines and how they bash gay, and how gays spread HIV, month after month.
