This film is so bad that something must be done — such as
this little snippet — to deter audience from entering the
halls to catch this utterly unconvincing and bloodless horror film
from Taiwan.
It basically involves a mansion with a cursed history and the young
man who inherited it. Though the premise involving a haunted habitat
might raise expectations of and comparisons to The Amityville
Horror or The Haunting, The Heirloom fails
spectacularly in its attempts to conjure up even the slightest semblance
of a hair-raising scare-scene. Not even cutey Jason Chang (Formula-17)
can redeem this crap from celluloid junkyard. Watch it if you really
have to...
