Totally agree with the previous posts. Mr Hong Kong should be Hong Kong born anda HKID card holder. It's ridiculous having a Puerto Rican win the Contest! How many non-HK girls are allowed in the Miss Hong Kong pageant? none, as far as I know. Nuff said!
#5 yes I would say if a non European born non European citizen keeps continually winning a "mr Europe" contest that it's totally bogus. My HK should be ..well from HK. You telling me year over year there is no Chinese in HK capable of winning MR freaking Hong bullshyt Kong? Scam, discrimination, and total BS contest. I doubt a contest with a location name in it allows contestants from world wide to apply. Unless WORLD is in the title. Can you guess where Miss China is from? Or perhaps Miss Germany? Perhaps Miss Ghana? But Mr HK. Guess anywhere but HK Fuking pisses me off they trash perfectly good locals in favor of some non local..year after year after year.
Agreed. I reckon the contest is open and should only be open to pure breed Hong Kong citizens and should not have been participated by foreigners. I wonder why are asians (country and people) still looking to the western.
I have to add my disappointment to this topic as well. There are some wonderful LOCALLY-BORN Hong Kong Chinese guys around, and many of them would be more than capable of joining and winning this sham competition.
Please... leave it for the local wonderful Hong Kong guys, otherwise why call it Mr. Hong Kong. It's CRAZY...!!!!!
