Sweet dreams are not made of this! After her irritating turn as
the incessantly screaming daughter of Tom Cruise in The War
of the Worlds, Dakota Fanning returns yet again to haunt the
cinema with her oh-so-earnest celluloid emoting. This time round,
Kurt Russel is the father: a dejected cowboy in a prolonged state
of catatonic moping after his ranch has suffered a downturn. The
only way his fortune can heal is by helping an injured horse named
Sonya get ready for a seemingly impossible goal: to win the Breeders'
Cup Classic. Say it together: “Awww!”

Well, at least he did have his days of glory, which is more than
can be said for this movie which would fare better if it went straight
to video, or Hallmark.
