Two men are forced to share a cell in a South American jail. One, Molina, is a romantic fantasist condemned for his sexuality. The other, Valentin, a young Marxist rebel punished for his ideals. Through the glamorous world of the movies, an unlikely relationship is formed that offers both men the hope of survival.
