This Love Drama Club produces a drama of the same name.
Fangfang Jiang, a Chinese lesbian, meets homosexual man Zhihao Jia at an agency for marriages of convenience. Though both of them have their own committed same-sex relationships, parental and societal pressure pushes them to wed. Their marriage, society’s intended solution, is a rocky ride – Jiang and Jia struggle to dispel their parents’ doubts as well as stay committed to their homosexual lovers. Issues from the marriage itself slowly come into view, as the protagonists wrestle with being ‘husband and wife, till death do us part’. Additionally, it will be revealed that both come from families with more than one skeleton in the closet, adding to the dramatic tension of the piece.
