I featured the original version of Mighty Six Ninety's "Mistakes Like These" as a Free Download back in June. It is a synthy pop-rock tune that echoes the sound of bands that inspired the group such as New Order, The Cure and The Smiths.

After their successful teaming at the True Colors tour last summer, Erasure and Cyndi Lauper collaborate again on the new tune Early Bird." I have never heard Lauper on such a synthy, electro production before but it is sounding pretty good. Andy Bell's choir boy vocals and Lauper's distinct, emotive vocal renderings gives "Early Bird" a bit of a gospel vibe.

Ben's Brother is a new London five-piece that was founded by singer Jamie Hartman. Before starting his own band, Hartman established himself as an accomplished songwriter for pop artists like Will Young (for whom he wrote the hit "All Time Love"), Emma Bunton and Natalie Imbruglia.
