A Beijing man who claims to have contracted HIV from his 70-year-old male lover has been arrested for the murders of the man and his daughter.

A disgruntled man suffering from HIV has been arrested for the murder of his 70-year-old male lover who he believes he had contracted the disease from.

According to a rare report in the Beijing Evening News, where topics of homosexuality and HIV/AIDS are usually taboo, Guo Yuanbin was arrested for the March 3 murders of Wang Shengqi and his daughter. The man, who age was not reported, used a large wrench to smash the skull of Wang Shengqi and then cut off his "reproductive organs." It is believed Guo killed Wang after he found out that Wang was seeing another man.

Guo later phoned Wang's daughter, Wang Zhifen, telling her that her father was ill. He then killed her with a wrench when she arrived at her father's apartment, said the newspaper report.
